As a firm dedicated to investing in the vision and resilience of women, Persistent prioritizes initiatives that empower women both internally and through our partner companies. For Rensource Energy, this commitment is evident in their launch of the Rensource Energize Her Initiative (REHI) in October of 2023, aimed at addressing gender disparities in Nigeria's engineering sector. With less than 30% of Nigerian engineering graduates being female, REHI inspires female students to explore engineering careers, particularly in solar energy. The initiative includes career guidance events and internships to foster future leaders in sustainable energy solutions in Nigeria.
