About us

Our Misson To encourage, support and sustain the interests and choices of young people in Nigeria in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). Our Vision Every young person especially females and people from disadvantaged backgrounds participate in STEM education and seize the opportunities arising from newer and emerging technologies in order to have decent and meaningful employment. We have services designed to help you get involved in STEM. We recently delivered DIGISTEM- the World Bank-Sponsored SEPIP Project in Nigeria. Currently, we are working on EdTech Testbed with stakeholders in Sub-Saharan Africa – Teachers, Innovators, Governments’ Education Departments, Schools, Universities and Researchers to understand how to create a shared vision for how EdTech can improve education, and how each stakeholder can contribute to this shared vision.

  • Problem-solving is a crucial skill in all aspects of life, and math provides a powerful framework for developing this ability. Want to empower yourself (or the young learners) to become better problem-solvers? Here are some engaging strategies: 1. Online Math Games: Turn math practice into an exciting adventure! Interactive games on platforms like Khan Academy Kids, Coolmath Games, and Prodigy make learning fun and reinforce key concepts. 2. Real-Life Math: Demonstrate the relevance of math in everyday situations. Involve learners in practical activities like cooking (measuring ingredients), grocery shopping (calculating costs), or travel planning (figuring out distances and time). 3 Math Projects: Make math tangible with hands-on projects. Building a model bridge, creating a budget, or designing a board game are excellent ways to apply math skills in a creative context. 4.Math Challenges: Stimulate critical thinking with puzzles and challenges. Sudoku, KenKen, and logic puzzles are fantastic tools for developing problem-solving abilities. How do you use math to solve problems in your daily life or work? Share your examples in the comments!

  • "If you want to live a happy life, tie it to a goal, not to people or things." - Albert Einstein. This quote by Albert Einstein is a powerful reminder that our happiness should be tied to our goals and aspirations, not to external factors like people or possessions. When we focus on our goals, we are more likely to feel a sense of purpose and fulfillment. This week, define your success by your goals, not external factors. What are your professional goals for this week? Let's make it a productive one! #MondayMotivation #ProfessionalDevelopment #GoalSetting

  • The role of human agency in an AI-powered world of education. ✍️ Although AI has the potential to transform education, its ethical implications must be carefully considered. While AI tools can automate tasks, personalize learning, and offer insightful information, we must make sure that human agency remains central. Teachers' roles should not be replaced by AI, but rather enhanced by it. Teachers must become curators of learning experiences, helping students develop human qualities like creativity, empathy, and ethical decision-making—skills that are essential for success in a world that is becoming more complex and driven by AI. This #InternationalEducationDay, let's reflect on how we can leverage AI responsibly. • How can we design AI systems that empower students, not replace human interaction? •How can we ensure equitable access to AI-powered education for all learners? •How can we prepare educators to effectively integrate AI while maintaining a human-centered approach to teaching and learning? Let's harness the power of AI to enhance education, not diminish the irreplaceable value of human connection, critical thinking, and the joy of learning. #AIineducation
