The DAF Student Day Event for our current interns was a success It was a full-day program organized to give our interns and graduating students a broader perspective of the DAF company. The opening presentation by Maurice Klaassens provided more background information about DAF Trucks. The presentations by Kati Brock and Luuk Tuijtelaars were perfect examples of the careers that are possible within DAF Trucks and PACCAR. Both work in departments who look into the future, which will be exited, DAF Product & Services Planning and Global Connected Services. DAF's Talent Manager, Ilse van Aalst, gave the students tips on how to build those careers, by focussing not only at the top, but looking broader. After the break, our Sustainability Manager, Eri van de laar, discussed DAF's activities related to sustainability and asked the students, who are current colleagues, to present their ideas on how DAF can improve communication about all the initiatives in place. The students also shared their great ideas on how DAF can become an even better employer and a more sustainable company. The best idea and the best group were awarded a DAF gift, as well as the winner of the quiz presented by Anne Kornuijt - Bressers and Maroan Bouadli-Arfaoui. Yesterday, we had the incredible opportunity to be part of the Industria Study Association Congress, held at the PSV Eindhoven stadium.
