Pharma Scientists need to speed up drug development by collecting extensive data from a wide range of samples. The Merits Of Label-Free Biosensing? Label-free biosensing enables real-time, direct detection without the need for tagging target molecules. This revolutionary approach benefits a wide range of applications, from studying molecular interactions and accelerating drug kinetics-screening to selecting high-quality antibodies based on kinetics and developing real-time quantitative biomarker assays. Most platforms focus on one aspect—sensitivity, multiplexing, or cost. Researchers need all three. And the high costs mean it's only accessible for big-budget labs. Powered by photonic integrated circuits, Delta Life Science accelerates research by a factor of 4. By cutting ownership costs by a factor of 5, we make top-notch label-free biosensing accessible to every researcher. As a spinoff of TNO, we develop integrated photonics to create highly sensitive and selective biosensors. These are an order of magnitude more affordable, measure multiple biomarkers and are extremely sensitive, reaching SPR sensitivity. Our chips and readout device can be used anywhere from medical research, agriculture to Point-of-Care diagnostic applications.

Thanks everyone for participating in our second Biosensing Brain Teaser! The results showed that most people chose D, which is a mechanism that uses chromophores to measure molecule interaction. Label-free is more advantageous, as it enables the measurement of real-time interactions. Delta Life Science developed an innovative take on SPR, called the Nanophotonic Evanescent field Sensing (NES), which implements the use of microscopic fibre optics as chips to measure molecule-molecule interaction through light.
