Not every part that was designed for traditional manufacturing is directly suited for Additive Manufacturing. Sometimes, redesigning that part is essential to reduce the material and weight of it. ⚖️ When you use the Ansys Simulation within our tool, you’ll find out if the mass of the parts could be lighter without impairing its performance. This may not even change the outer shape of the component, but you can still benefit from cheaper manufacturing because less product is needed to make the same part.
