Update from Dixstone Business Unit Drilling! We are excited to announce that the Hurstgra II was successfully towed last week to Lamprell shipyard in Sharjah - UAE! Over the next 10 months, the rig will undergo an extensive reactivation project, preparing it for its next chapter as part of the Dixstone Drilling Fleet. This marks a significant step forward in our mission to expand and strengthen our capabilities in the drilling industry. 🚨 Exciting Progress Alert! 🚨 As we gear up for our offshore Poseidon CO₂ injection test, the Carbon Catalyst Limited team, our Poseidon partners and the North Sea Transition Authority had the privilege of visiting Petrodec’s ERDA platform which is being prepared for offshore CO₂ injection activities at Dixstone’s Nieudorp yard in the Netherlands. With mobilisation just weeks away, preparations are in full swing. The installation of the cryogenic CO₂ tanks, pumps and heating equipment is well advanced, bringing us closer to the start of this critical operational activity. Project milestone announcement: Leman 27J Topside removal – the 7th Topside for ERDA The Leman 27J topside has been successfully removed and offloaded by Petrodec ERDA rig, using skidding operations This project stands out for its innovative approach and careful planning: Precision preparation: Adapting ERDA's deck from P&A to accommodate a Topside for the transport to Vlissingen. Engineering excellence: A detailed weight estimate guided the design of lightweight skid beam supports—both economical to fabricate and practical for offshore installation. Safety first: Above all, the topside removal was executed safely, thanks to the competent and motivated ERDA and Project crew. Leman 27J Topside will now sustainably disposed at the Sagro Decom yard in Vlissingen. The Leman 27J Topside removal was fully engineered and managed by Petrodec, demonstrating our team’s commitment to delivering innovative and reliable offshore solutions. This achievement reflects not only the strength of Petrodec’s engineering and operational capabilities but also the teamwork and passion of everyone involved. Announcement: Arrival of the Barge and Launch of the groundbreaking LNG CAP LOPEZ Project We are thrilled to announce the arrival of the Bran6 barge at Hamriyah port in Sharjah, marking the official commencement of our exciting FLNG project. This milestone is a significant step toward achieving our goals, and we are eager to begin the next phase of the construction. The barge, which safely docked last week, will be converted into a fully functional FLNG plant for our client Perenco Oil & Gas Gabon. With this FLNG barge, we are pioneering new Small Scale LNG solutions in remote countries to unlock marginal stranded gas reserves and support the efforts in Global Flaring Reduction by cutting emissions and improve delivery to demanding markets. Once operational, the FLNG barge will deliver up to 120 MMSCFD at -160°C, with condensates and LPG separation capabilities. Both the FLNG project and the establishment of our new Dixstone Lower Gulf branch are critical steps in our commitment to contributing to the energy transition with sustainable, efficient, and forward-thinking solutions. From Gabon, we have selected two talented young graduates with bachelor’s degrees in maintenance to embark on a 3 + 1-year curriculum at the prestigious Maritime Institute of Casablanca, Morocco – “ISEM.” During their studies, they will gain hands-on experience and, we hope, join our fleet as cadets before becoming engineering officers on board our vessels at Dixstone. From Cameroon: LUG Rig Update ! In North Cameroon, the LUG platform rig continues to deliver outstanding safety performance and operational uptime! Overcoming unique challenges like ultra-shallow water development in the long-dormant Kita field (untouched since the 1980s!) and reaching a 3.5 km deport target in Ekundu, the LUG rig has marked six years of excellence and completed an impressive 60-well campaign. At Dixstone, we are proud to uphold high standards of performance and safety, thanks to the thorough design, teamwork and execution. MSV COBEIA successfully completed pipe & cable laying campaign in T&T   Last year, the MSV COBEIA was hired by Perenco Trinidad & Tobago, together with Heritage Petroleum and the National Gas Company (NGC), as part of a major recycling and lifetime extension program to modernize the TSP fields in Trinidad and Tobago. This multi-year initiative brought significant upgrades, including electrifying offshore platforms and replacing the export pipeline that connects the field to the onshore terminal at Galeota.   Building on its recent success installing similar pipelines in Brazil, COBEIA was awarded this turnkey project, which included a complex shore landing and three offshore crossings—navigating under existing pipelines! To meet these challenges, COBEIA received a significant upgrade at the Curacao shipyard, adding lateral thrusters to withstand strong currents and regional swells.   Looking back, we are proud to see COBEIA in action on such a remarkable project, highlighting our commitment to innovation and offshore expertise, pushing boundaries, and shaping the future of offshore modernization!   #Dixstone #InnovationInAction #OffshoreExcellence
