🚨 Defending Scientific Integrity and Diversity in Public Health 💪 Censorship of science is never about protecting the public. It is about controlling them. When governments dictate what research can & cannot be published, they are not defending the truth. They are erasing it. The recent move to suppress public health research containing terms like gender, transgender, LGBTQI+ is not just an attack on language—it is an attack on truth, equity, and the well-being of our communities. At EUPHA - European Public Health Association and the European Journal of Public Health, we believe that public health thrives on open discourse, the ability to ask tough questions, and the freedom to publish data-driven findings. Like the the editors of the British Medical Journal (BMJ) who have condemned this act of political interference in scientific discourse, we stand alongside them in resisting these moves.  🔹 We will not retract research due to political pressure. 🔹 We will continue publishing inclusive, evidence-based public health studies. 🔹 We will stand in solidarity with researchers facing censorship. 🔹 We will resist any attempts to erase knowledge essential to public health.
