By identifying financing opportunities and gaps, it promotes efficient capital allocation to underserved areas. With the shift to a green economy anticipated to displace approximately 78 million jobs by 2030, drive up consumer costs, and disrupt communities, urgent action is needed to prevent worsening inequalities and resistance to climate initiatives. The framework emphasises high-priority actions and collaboration among stakeholders to ensure a socially responsible climate agenda. Empowering Organic Agriculture in Emerging Markets 🌍 We’re thrilled to announce a major milestone for Organic Development Finance (ODF): the commitment of a €10 million senior loan by Invest International This funding will enable ODF to expand its support for SMEs in emerging markets, providing fair-priced working capital to businesses that aggregate and export organic ingredients. By connecting smallholder farmers to global markets, we’re fostering sustainable agriculture and empowering local communities. ODF is managed by FOUNT.eu and initiated by Tradin Organic Key Highlights: ✅ Promoting sustainable practices that protect the environment. ✅ Supporting SMEs in scaling their operations and paying fair prices to farmers. ✅ Advancing a thriving organic value chain, from farm to fork. With backing from partners like Tradin Organic, USAID, and GIZ, ODF is uniquely positioned as a blended finance facility to drive impactful investments. 📢 Announcement! 📢 We are delighted to announce the release of the Good Fashion Fund’s "Lessons Learned during Phase I" report for the textile and apparel industry. After the first three years of operating, the fund has generated learnings on impact pathways and best practices, but also on the challenges that textile industry-focused impact investment still faces. Now is the time for sharing these insights with textile and financial sector stakeholders to support knowledge exchange and inspire more collaboration and future action. By focusing on innovative technologies, crucial financial support, and effective brand-supplier collaboration, we aim to bridge critical gaps and promote sustainable practices. Key insights:       - Bridging the gap in sustainability expectations and reality via impact investment       - Adopting sustainable technologies and the role of finance in driving E&S sustainability       - Achieving cohesion between and brands and suppliers’ expectations and role of finance For our team, this concise report is a culmination of our experiences in helping manufacturers adopt and scale sustainable practices, while featuring the GFF portfolio to ‘demonstrate’ to the broader ecosystem on the potential of using finance and tailored assistance to enhance sustainability.
