Romania's full access to the Schengen area would lead more businesses from abroad to relocate to our country, Alexandru Ruff, our partner, tells StartupCafe.ro.   "If you don't have to carry goods because you carry them easily, you move easily, it means you can produce here for Eastern Europe, directly here, instead of bringing them (ed.) Then you can distribute them very easily in Hungary, with the western part, but also in Greece with the ports, where you can bring goods from the Mediterranean to Romania or business. I also believe that the Romanian ports on the Black Sea are becoming important in a wider corridor or a larger business area. Romanian start-up Data Against Data from #GapMinderPortfolio continues to attract the attention of the global market with its innovative solution for personal data protection. After six months of monetization, the company estimates annual recurring revenues of €60,000-70,000 by the end of 2024.   Since the launch of the paid version of the solution in May 2024, it has managed to attract several thousand paying subscribers out of a total of more than 20,000 users. So far, it has accumulated total funding of over €200,000, received from local fund GapMinder VC and Start-up accelerator Startup Wise Guys.
