How SolarOnTop makes your Loading/Unloading process more effective and reliable in 4 Steps  1️⃣ Driving: While driving, SolarOnTop powers the truck’s electronics with clean solar energy. The excess energy generated by SolarOnTop is stored in the lithium battery for later use. 2️⃣ At the Distribution Center: When the truck arrives at the store and is turned off, the SolarOnTop delivers the energy generated by the solar panels to recharge the tail lift battery for unloading goods. Each time the tail lift operates, SolarOnTop recharges the battery to maintain a consistent charge level. 3️⃣ Store to store & unloading: When moving from one store to another, short driving distances often don't allow enough time for the alternator to recharge the tail lift. SolarOnTop steps in to store solar energy in the lithium battery, making sure there’s enough power for loading and unloading. 4️⃣ Unloading at the DC: When the trailer arrives at the distribution center (DC), the tail lift is used to unload the goods, powered by solar energy. 🎄✨ Wrapping up the year with joy and team spirit! ✨🎄 As December almost ends, it was that time of the year for our annual Christmas activity. We kicked off the day with an amazing visit to Lightyear, where we got an inside look at their manufacturing process and had the chance to drive the beautiful Lightyear One ( Bart Kramer, thank you for having us). It's always inspiring to see how solar mobility is shaping the future of transportation. Together, we are making the transportation world more sustainable. After the visit, we made our way to the Christmas city of Cologne to enjoy the festive atmosphere of the Christmas markets. It was the perfect place to relax, connect, and share laughs with colleagues. We wrapped up the day with a delicious dinner, celebrating our achievements. And of course, we couldn’t miss a little party 😉 Here’s to another year of success, innovation, and great teamwork!
