SoulPaint Launch and Award at SXSW The year started with the successful launch of SoulPaint at SXSW 2024, where it was awarded the Special Jury Prize in the XR Experience category. Narrated by Hollywood actress Rosario Dawson, SoulPaint is a VR project that enables participants to explore and choreograph their emotions through immersive storytelling, neuroscience, and play. The experience was received with enthusiasm and booked full every day of the festival. Since then it has received 3 other awards, and we are looking forward to what is in store next, SoulPaint is a project by Niki Smit, Monobanda, & Sara Ticho, and Hatsumi. The project has been funded by Immerse Interact by Creative NL, Film Fonds, and Unity for Humanity grant. Launch of "Anders?!" at Museum de Heksenwaag June marked the opening of the exhibition "Anders?!", at Museum de Heksenwaag in Oudewater. Our interactive AI-powered experience allows visitors to engage with characters, exploring themes of exclusion and discrimination. We also talked about our application XR for Heritage at Stereopsia 2024 in Brussels.
