The installation of the BluePump in Turkana Kenya in progress. The training on pump installation, facilitated by Techno Relief Services, Participants include the Borehole Rapid Response Team, Oxfam staff, and engineers from the ASAL Humanitarian Network (AHN) partners. This hands-on approach ensures that stakeholders acquire the necessary skills for future installation and maintenance, supporting long-term sustainability. Oxfam’s engineer is overseeing progress in Turkana to ensure quality installation and effective community engagement. This will help ensure that the community user groups are well-prepared for the operation and maintenance of the pumps post-handover.
