We are excited to introduce you to Marking 2.0 ✨ After 3,5 years it was time to take a step back and revisit our vision. By doing so we realised that our branding no longer aligned with our identity and the company we have evolved in to. As a team we sat down to evaluate who we are, what we stand for and what we want to share. A great bonding activity, but also important for us to really experience the journey we take our clients on. In the next few weeks, we will be sharing the phases and steps of our rebranding process, but for now, have a browse of our new website which we can proudly say; represents us!

✨ Marking’s 12 Days of Christmas ✨ This holiday season, we’re wrapping up another incredible year in the most festive way: Marking’s 12 Days of Christmas! 🎁 Starting on the 12th December, we’ve added a playful twist to our Christmas presents in true advent calendar style. We curated an exclusive package for our clients, featuring 12 thoughtfully selected gifts—“Marking’s Favourites.” Here’s what makes it special: 1. Thoughtful curation: Each gift has been carefully handpicked—products we love, admire, and are excited to highlight. 2. A storytelling booklet: Each package includes a beautifully designed booklet with illustrations made by Anouk Jansen. It’s filled with fun Marking stories, surprising facts and unique insights about the presents. 3. A playful twist: The unboxing experience adds to the excitement! Starting with present # 1 on 12th December and unwrapping a new numbered present each day, right through to 23rd December. This initiative is more than just giving — it’s a reflection of who we are and what drives us: creativity, collaboration, and a touch of fun. To challenge our own marketing expertise we used different social channels to give our followers an inside peek into the contents of the package. From longer form video content on TikTok, shorter reels on Instagram and carrousel sliders with personalised drawings, we took our own strategic creativity to the next level. And now… here’s a sneak peek of the very first gift! 🎁

📝 From plan to action! We created a content strategy for Von Poll Real Estate NL Amsterdam/Den Haag, featuring a fresh brochure, updated outdoor sales boards, and a full social media plan. To bring it to life, we held an engaging implementation workshop in the beautiful boardroom of FOSBURY AND SONS. The day included a strategy deep dive, a hands-on content creation session, and a fun team competition to craft the best video—all paired with delicious food and stunning views. De bouw van Hotel Chicago is begonnen!🎉 Vrijdag 8 november is het officiële startsein gegeven van de bouw van Hotel Chicago in Rotterdam. Met een feestelijke handeling en toost op deze bijzondere mijlpaal is de eerste stap gezet richting een nieuw hoofdstuk. Hotel Chicago komt te staan op de historische locatie van het voormalige landverhuizershotel van de NASM, waar historie en moderne luxe samen zullen komen. Behind the Scenes of the Annual Open Day at the shipyard of our client: Hutting Yachts. In October, Marking had the pleasure of organizing and hosting the annual Open Day for the shipyard, Hutting Yachts, in Makkum. Wondering how an event like this comes together from start to finish? Here’s a look at our approach: 1. Defining the Core Message What should visitors remember and feel when they head home? The goal was clear: showcase Hutting Yachts as a high-quality, full-service shipyard offering tailored advice to each client. 2. Crafting the Perfect Activities To reinforce our message, we carefully selected lecturers and demonstrations, including “First Aid on Board” by Rob Sijbers, “Living and Working Aboard,” and an introduction to using Starlink by seasoned sailors Tim Lemeer and Liesbeth Brederode. We also invited Ard Meijer van Van Oossanen Naval Architects to discuss designing seaworthy yachts. 3. Selecting Ideal Partners Aligning with partners that share our values was essential. Inside the shipyard, we hosted a mini exhibition featuring regatta's as: Scheveningen500, Colin Archer Memorial Race and companies like: Holland Nautic Apeldoorn BV, STOK Electric, and De Vries Sails Makkum B.V. 4. Targeting the Right Audience We wanted to attract experienced sailors from the Benelux and Germany, launching an online campaign with direct mail, Meta, and Google Ads. We also leveraged our own platforms, including HISWA , Boats Group, and our presence at Boot Düsseldorf. 5. Measuring Success Guests registered via our website, which meant we could effectively follow-up. Our focus was brand awareness, but more importantly, direct sales. With record attendance of 145 visitors and four immediate test sails booked, the results exceeded expectations! 6. Our Takeaway We are extremely happy! This event perfectly blended digital and offline marketing, bringing Hutting Yachts’ unique value to life. Looking forward to more successful collaborations and memorable events!
