Na zijn afstuderen aan Nyenrode in 2018, waar hij al een fulltimebaan had voordat hij zijn scriptie had afgerond, heeft alumnus Yifan Yang indrukwekkende stappen gezet in zijn carrière. Hij werkte in verschillende sectoren zoals de bloemenverkoop tussen China en Nederland, Europese logistiek en wereldwijde chemische handel. In 2021 stapte Yifan over naar MatchWornShirt, een jong en veelbelovend bedrijf dat fans de kans biedt om authentieke, gedragen voetbalshirts van hun favoriete spelers te verzamelen, terwijl het ook fondsen werft voor goede doelen. Hij verliet een comfortabele baan om zich aan te sluiten bij dit inspirerende project, en hij heeft daar nog geen moment spijt van gehad. Op de vraag waar hij het meest trots op is, vertelt Yifan over de vele momenten waarop hij uit zijn comfort zone stapte en resultaten wist te leveren.
