The first day of the European Aerospace Cluster Partnership (EACP) General Assembly 2024 is a wrap! With over 40 out of the 45 European clusters attending, this meeting is one of the most well attended. I’m happy to be part of it here in Aix-en-Provence, on behalf of NAG Advancing your Aerospace and Airport Business ✈️ Manager International Affairs Niklas Schilling described this European 🌍 cluster of national and regional associations in aviation as a family and it sure feels like a warm welcome, joining this group 🤗 Today’s programme was packed ⚡ We kicked off with a presentation by host Jérôme Perrin, General Manager of Pôle SAFE. Jerome presented the French cluster landscape and emphasized the fact that this meeting had been made possible only by the support of the other French clusters: AERIADES, Aerospace Cluster Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Aerospace Valley, ASTech Paris Region, NAE (Normandie AeroEspace) 🤝 This presentation was followed by one from Niklas, reporting on the association’s activities of the past 12 months 🗓️ We broke up the meeting for a nice French lunch 🍲 and group photo 📸 After which the EACP Working Groups individually presented their progress made 💪: WG Coordination, WG Supply Chain & Technology, WG Internationalisation & GACP, WG Skills and WG UAS. Great to see the impressive load of work 📑 that has been done over the past period and to feel the energy 🌟 from both Niklas and the WG leads reporting. Attendees were asked to vote on a number of issues ☑️ First, on the host of next year’s EACP General Assembly. Congratulations to AERA - Clúster de Aeronáutica, Aeroespacial y Defensa de Aragón for being the winner of this vote 🥳 The NAG is looking forward to attending next year’s meeting in Zaragoza (ES)! Furthermore, Claudia Sidor of Aviation Valley Rzeszow (Poland) was voted co-Lead of the EACP Working Group Internationalization. After the votings, Maybrit Brooksnieder shared an update on the ECARE results, the European Clean Aviation Regional Ecosystem. The project is coming to and end, but its platform will be maintained for another 5 years. Roza Puzio and Claudia Sidor presented on the METASTARS project. The networking dinner of this evening was a great success 🍾🍤🍥 Next to the cluster representatives numerous local and regional companies attended, with a total of about 90 persons. Thanks to Pôle SAFE, for being such a great host 🙏 Now let's get some rest for day II... 😴 #EACP #aviation #Europe #GeneralAssembly

🇧🇷 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐬 We look back on a memorable mission filled with collaboration, innovation, and meaningful connections. The journey concluded with a technical meeting at São Paulo International Airport (GRU), the largest airport in Latin America. This final session brought valuable insights as the GRU Airport team outlined key areas of interest and explored how Dutch expertise could support ongoing and future expansion projects. Some companies in our delegation are already contributing to GRU Airport’s initiatives, while others used this opportunity to showcase their innovative solutions. The discussions were focused and forward-looking, with follow-up activities planned to address technical challenges and deepen commercial ties. For our PIB SIAD cluster participants, this mission delivered tangible results and opened doors for impactful collaborations, making it one of the most productive yet. We are proud to support our members in driving sustainable and innovative airport development and grateful to our partners, participants, and hosts for their incredible efforts in making this mission a success. Here’s to building on this momentum! #SustainableAviation #AirportInnovation #BrazilAviation #ESG #ClimateAction #NAG Infraero Brasil - ANAC - Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil

This week Frank Jansen, Managing Director of the NAG Advancing your Aerospace and Airport Business had the honor and pleasure to lead an Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland (RVO) mission to Paris, exploring opportunities in sustainable aviation ✈️, with a focus on Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF). The NAG believes that collaboration on this subject across our ecosystems is a clear must, in order to achieve the EU’s carbon neutrality targets. The aim of the mission was to share best practices between France and the Netherlands and to foster our current and future collaborations 🤝 During the three days of the mission the delegation, comprising of key players in the field, actively engaged with their French counterparts. With a round table co-organised by ASTech Paris Region on Sustainable Aviation Fuels, Climate & Innovation Cooperation between France and the Netherlands; a company visit to Safran; a business dinner and a number of site visits the mission program was packed. Not only with extremely valuable meetings and discussions, to further enhance collaborations and developments, but also with energy and confidence towards a future outlook. We’d like to extend our thanks to the Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland (RVO), the Nederlandse Ambassade in Frankrijk, the Ministerie van Economische Zaken, the Ministerie van Infrastructuur en Waterstaat, ASTech Paris Region and last bust not least, the Dutch ecosystem ✈️ We believe the mission has been extremely valuable, due to all our combined efforts and energy, and has provided us with identified steps towards a more sustainable future in aviation. #sustainableaviation #sustainableaviationfuel #SAF
