The POLAD is responsible for providing diplomatic, politico-military information, analysis and advice in support of operational decision-making. The office of the POLAD is the principal link of the Commander to the civilian / political authorities of NATO, national governments, International Organizations and agencies as part of a comprehensive approach. The POLAD reports to and advises the 4-star Commander directly, and heads the POLAD team.
