𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗰𝗼𝘄𝗯𝗼𝘆𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘂𝗰𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 👨👩👧👦💙 When Neele, where Miriam Winkel-Willemsen was employed at the time, and Vat Logistics joined forces in 2014, two distinct company cultures came together. Neele was seen as the 'cowboys'—not because they broke the rules, but because they got things done without strictly following fixed procedures or step-by-step guidelines. In contrast, Vat Logistics staff had a reputation for being more structured and procedural. 📑 Over time, these differences have blended into a unified and unique Neele-Vat culture—though traces of both backgrounds can still be seen, now balancing each other out beautifully! ⚖️ A strong company culture also means investing in people. Miriam has played a significant role in this over the years. 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁𝘀 4️⃣ - 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 Just over 11 years after the founding of Vat Logistics by Ruud Vat, the moment had arrived: Ruud moved to Van Riemsdijkweg 22. After working for several years on Rochussenstraat, where Ruud learned all the ins and outs of groupage transport, warehousing activities began to increase. At the time, these activities were outsourced to another party. Ruud wanted to take control himself and started searching for his own warehouse, where he could store his customers' shipments. This led to the purchase of the very first 700-square-meter warehouse! Since then, Neele-Vat has grown significantly, and the total warehousing space has expanded enormously.
