We want to share a milestone for Omni Wind as we continue strengthening our partnership with ENTRANCE - Centre of Expertise Energy, the renowned energy transition center in Groningen. This collaboration underscores our unwavering commitment to the region and its future in renewable energy. At the recent annual meeting of the PUMSWINDT2 project, we celebrated the remarkable strides we have made in advancing small wind turbine technology. A substantial portion of our R&D efforts is centered at Entrance, where innovation meets action. This has been made possible thanks to the dedication of our talented team members, including Leon Schaef, sadeq ALBDOUR, and their supervisor, Niels Adema. Your contributions have been instrumental in driving this project forward and turning vision into reality. Professors Arjen de Ruijter and Gerard Schepers have supported and guided us greatly in our work. Looking ahead, we are deeply committed to the province of Groningen. It’s a base for our current operations and the future hub for our company’s R&D endeavors. We are excited about building a state-of-the-art research and development center here, fostering innovation, creating opportunities, and contributing to the energy transition goals of the region. 🌟 A Milestone for Omni Wind at PortXL Grand Finale 2024! 🌟 We at Omni Wind are thrilled to have participated in the PortXL Accelerator Program, which kicked off in September and culminated in an incredible Grand Finale on 28th November 2024. As part of this transformative program, we worked on developing an innovative project for the City of Rotterdam, collaborating with the fantastic team at HalioGen Power from the UK. Our key takeaways from this journey: ✅ Market Development and understanding effective Project Acquisition strategies. ✅ Gaining invaluable exposure and insights by learning from the inspiring startups in the cohort. This program has propelled us to the next stage, where we’ll focus on installing multiple pilot projects across the Netherlands—and potentially beyond! We aim to execute four to five projects in 2025, and we’re always open to new opportunities for growth and collaboration. 🚀 Exciting News! 🚀 We are thrilled to share that our startup, @OmniWind, has been recognized as one of the 10 most impactful startups in the region! 🌟 On Monday, June 24th, we had the incredible opportunity to participate in Startups for Society - The Connection. This event was a fantastic platform that helped Omni Wind discover new opportunities for pilot projects. We were able to connect with the local municipality and several companies interested in becoming our pilot customers. This recognition and the connections we made are a testament to our team's hard work and dedication. The brilliant and hardworking students of Hanzehogeschool Groningen / Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen & ENTRANCE - Centre of Expertise Energy recently completed a project with Omni Wind. The students tested our alpha prototype comprehensively and obtained results that are very important for the further development of our technology. The team of Omni Wind is thankful to the student team consisting of Max Dubelski, Jesse Snels, Viktor Dimitrov, and Eoin Doherty for completing the project successfully and wishes them good luck in their further studies and future endeavors. The student team was well guided by their professors Niels Adema and Arjen de Ruijter and well supported by other staff members of ENTRANCE - Centre of Expertise Energy throughout this project.
