We are excited to announce our partnership with Space Cargo Unlimited to fly 7 Re-Entry Mission with our #PHOENIX capsule from 2025 until 2027. 🚀 This collaboration creates a new European end-to-end service by integrating Space Cargo Unlimited’s autonomous payload platform #BENTOBOX, capable of carrying over 100 kg per mission with ATMOS’ PHOENIX return capsule. Together, we are establishing sustainable and affordable microgravity research and in-orbit manufacturing in Low Earth Orbit (LEO). “By combining BENTOBOX with our PHOENIX re-entry capsule, we can provide a full-service solution to customers, from payload development & integration to safe return and recovery,” says Sebastian Klaus, CEO of ATMOS Space Cargo. Connections, inspiration, and momentum - Slush 2024 delivered it all ❄️ What an incredible three days it’s been—full of inspiring conversations and a clear signal: #DeepTech is building momentum like never before. 🛰️ We kicked things off with our DeepTech Frontier event, hosting panels that explored New Horizons in #SpaceTech and the critical role of #AI and #Semiconductors in driving the next wave of technological innovation. 💡 Our Managing Partner, Adam Niewinski, joined the State of DeepTech discussion alongside Nicolas Autret (Walden Catalyst Ventures), Marc-Olivier Luecke (Atlantic Labs), and Stephen Nundy (Lakestar). 🌎 The takeaway? Real tech needs to be global from day one, and we’re seeing more founders ready to take on this ambitious challenge. However, European startups still face a need for additional late-stage funding. The good news? LPs are increasingly recognizing the transformative opportunities in DeepTech. Celebrating the next generation of trailblazers! 🚀   We were honored to be part of the Forbes Polska 30 Under 30 initiative, where our Managing Partner, Adam Niewinski, served on the selection committee, evaluating the incredible achievements of young entrepreneurs shaping the future. At the laureates' meetup, Adam joined a panel discussion moderated by Forbes Editor-in-Chief Katarzyna Dębek, featuring Dominika Żak and Malwina Pawłowska. Adam shared insights from his journey as a founder-turned-investor, highlighting his belief as a DeepTech investor that building impactful tech solutions requires a global vision from day one - because technology, by its nature, is boundaryless.   Krzysztof Domaradzki - kudos for initiating the Polish edition of this list, and thank you for the invitation. Since 2018 (with a brief pause during COVID), attending the #UglyDuck event has been a must to discuss the state of tech and #VC, but more importantly, to reconnect with friends from the European Investment Fund (EIF) family. This year was no different, starting with an inspirational speech by Marjut Falkstedt focusing on a sustainable future. Uli Grabenwarter delivered another insightful presentation, highlighting EIF’s strategic role in growing the VC ecosystem in #Europe while achieving solid returns. Following Draghi’s call for #innovation in Europe, it’s clear that this goal cannot be reached without VC involvement. Will #pension funds and #insurance companies in the #EU join the effort to safeguard Europe’s #competitiveness (and our future retirements)?
