What a Grand Finale indeed. We were able to win the first prize in the Ideation category, along with the Dutch Student Investment Fund Award in the UT Challenge! The prize money from these two award will be used for developing the pilot, testing it, and ultimately creating a safer experience for contact sports players. Thank you to the organizers, who made this event possible, the partners, who are enabling us to further develop our idea, all the other teams, who created an amazing atmosphere of both rivalry and support, and the Palmos team: Dany Shalhoub, Simon Horacek, Theoni Constantinou, George Beacom and Pavlo Hrechko. Also a big thank you to Benjamin O Regan, who was there in the pitch even though you might've not seen him.
What a Grand Finale! Over the past few months, 75 teams have worked day and night to develop their idea, prototype or start-up aiming towards the Grand Finale of the UT Entrepreneurial Challenge. From this wide array of future innovators and world changers, only the 20 best projects got the opportunity to pitch at the Grand Finale during the Dutch Innovation Days! Our ecosystem of national & international partners and the University of Twente have brought forward the best out of these future entrepreneurs through coaching, workshops and advice!
