𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟬 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗶𝗰𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 - 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 Hi everyone, my name is Marilyn Bongers! I’m a Runner (Trainer) at Picnic! 🚚 You might see me at your doorstep delivering groceries, hanging on a wall at Headquarters, or even in one of our recruitment posts on TikTok or Instagram Reels. 🤳 As a Runner, I never expected Picnic to offer such a wide range of opportunities. At first, I thought it was just a delivery job, but Picnic is so much more than that! Of course, delivering groceries is at the core of what we do, but the different kinds of people you meet and the challenges you face in different neighborhoods make every day unique and exciting. Beyond training new Runners, there’s so much more to explore here! For instance, I get to brainstorm creative ideas to recruit new Runners through social media. I love making TikToks with Dylan Dingjan, we always have a good laugh making these. I even got the chance to be part of a Runner photoshoot. Some of the beautiful photos we took are featured on the recruitment site—and one of them is proudly displayed at HQ! I love the energy and variety this job brings me. I really enjoy working here, and you can definitely tell by the smile I bring to the workplace. 😁 That smile gets even bigger when I show up and see my friends on shift too! I’m a people person through and through, and being a Runner (Trainer) allows me to connect with others both on and off the job. When people ask me what I do, I always respond enthusiastically: I work at Picnic! ❤️

Over ons
At Picnic, we’re revolutionizing the way people buy groceries. Our affordable and sustainable service is made possible by our passionate people, cutting-edge technology, efficient planning, and, of course, our fleet of iconic electric vehicles! It’s why our customer base is growing rapidly across the Netherlands, Germany, and France. One of the things that makes Picnic different is that we handle almost everything in-house: forecasting, developing our first automated warehouse and new electric Picnic vehicles, internal and customer-facing applications—the list goes on. It gives us more freedom when it comes to trying out new and innovative ideas, which is something we do a lot! We love to challenge ourselves and learn new things. Our teams have access to various meetups, language classes, ‘Lunch & Learn’ sessions, our very own Tech Academy, and tailored soft-skills training. Professional development is as important to us as the service we provide to our customers. As a diverse team made up of over 80 nationalities, there are always plenty of activities to get involved with, whether you’re into sports, board games, charitable causes, dancing (at our legendary Picnic festival), or licorice tasting—yes, even that! Our scale-up culture means you get to own your role and bring fresh ideas to the table. So, if you’re looking for an opportunity to make a real difference, get in touch—we’d love to hear from you.

𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟳 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗶𝗰𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 - 𝗖𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘂 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 😋 The Picnic Christmas menu is out! 🎄 In NL, this means 𝟭𝟬𝟬+ 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗲𝘀, from starters to desserts, kid-friendly to sophisticated, delicious classics to intriguing newbies. We asked one of our many talented recipe developers, Jasmijn Beerthuis, which recipes she would be trying out with her loved ones this year: “To me Christmas is only really celebratory if everyone can eat everything, and so my Christmas is plant-forward. The 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 '𝗰𝗼𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘀' are insanely delicious and the smashingly beautiful 𝗽𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗸𝗶𝗻 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗼𝗻 is a sight for sore eyes. But my absolute favourite is the 𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗰𝗮𝗸𝗲 with pistachio praliné and dark chocolate. The tastes and textures are approachable and yet they surprise you enough to make it truly a Christmas dessert that shortly interrupts the 𝘨𝘦𝘻𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘥 with tasting instead of talking (𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵'𝘴 𝘮𝘺 𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘬 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘢 𝘴𝘶𝘤𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘩 😉)” What dish will you be making to dazzle your guests this Christmas? 👇Tell us below!

𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟲 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗶𝗰𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 - 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗲𝘀 🎄 🦸 The holidays are one of our busiest times, and we couldn’t do it without our amazing operations team — packing, delivering, and ensuring your groceries arrive with care. To show our appreciation for their hard work, we’ve made it a tradition to gift them something special during Christmas. It’s our small way of saying thank you for keeping the magic going. We’re incredibly grateful for the effort they put in, especially during the festive season. Their commitment and passion are what keep Picnic going, and we couldn’t be more thankful for each and every one of them. Here’s to our everyday heroes and a festive season filled with gratitude! 🥰

𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟯 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗶𝗰𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 - 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 Read along to find out about Gianluca Deon's story 🎅 I started working at Picnic in 2020, and it has been an incredible journey. From Holland’s FC4 in Rotterdam to the opening of the first FC in Lille and then on to Paris, the road has been full of emotions, inspiring people, and personal growth. I’ve gone from being a shopper to a captain, even taking on the role of trainer. Today, as a captain, I also manage recruiting and training new team members. Picnic has given me so much that even an A4 sheet of paper wouldn’t be enough to express my gratitude, but I’ll share three things that stand out. First, the incredible atmosphere—hundreds of people working together in harmony, background music keeping the energy up, and breaks in a canteen where chefs prepare fresh lunches every day. Second, the chance to learn from a team as diverse as the world itself, with colleagues from 177 different countries. Third, Picnic’s commitment to sustainability. Nothing goes to waste—unsold food is donated to charities or cooked for the team, reflecting values that make Picnic truly unique. This commitment is especially meaningful during the holiday season. Our operations make it possible for families to enjoy their Christmas dinners with ease. From picking the ingredients to delivering them on time, we ensure festive tables are ready, allowing customers to focus on what matters most: being together. Working at Picnic is more than a job—it’s being part of a community driven by teamwork, care, and a shared vision for a better future.

🎶 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟮 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗶𝗰𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁: 𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗮 𝗹𝗼𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗮𝘀 🎶 Christmas time is crafting time! ✂️ During a workshop, our colleagues Gina, Nadja, Tarek S. and Kyria got creative and turned Picnic private-label products into festive Christmas decorations. From tea and tomato cans to oat milk cartons, they made beautiful candle holders and ornaments for the Christmas tree. 🎄✨ The best part? It wasn’t just a lot of fun, but also a great way to promote sustainability. Our products are perfect for upcycling – and we want to share that idea with you! ♻️ Why not plan a cozy crafting afternoon with your family? Grab your favorite Picnic products and turn them into something special! We’d love to see your creations: What does your sustainable Christmas decoration look like? 💬👇

𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟭 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗶𝗰𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 - 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮 𝗱𝗼 𝗶𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗹? At Picnic, Christmas starts in October 🤯 With the influx of orders during the holiday season, our teams have to prepare months in advance - it’s a whole operation! We’re not sure how Santa does it all, but at Picnic we pull it off through meticulous planning, teamwork across many domains, and a lot of data.
