An important step that signifies the position of Semiconducting qubits in the landscape of qubit technologies. Looking forward to the realisation of this powerful quantum computer, an asset for Europe 🇪🇺 and The Netherlands. Proud of this consortium consisting of Surf, University of Antwerp (BE), GENCI (FR), Netherlands eScience Center (NL), Leiden University (NL), Delft University of Technology (NL), National Institute for Subatomic Physics Nikhef (NL) and SURF (NL).
We’re excited to announce that we will be hosting a European quantum computer at Amsterdam Science Park, right alongside our national supercomputer Snellius. This will allow students, researchers and businesses to make use of a unique hybrid combination between a quantum and a 'regular' supercomputer.
