  • When Linflowers Chrysanten expanded their greenhouse with a new 7.2-hectare facility, they needed more than a standard blackout screen. They required a screen that combined fire retardancy with an aluminium top layer—a solution that didn’t exist at the time. This led them to Ridder. Working closely with Linflowers and Holland Scherming | Holland Screens, Ridder developed the RBO 100 FR AB+B blackout screen—a custom solution tailored to the growers’ needs. The result? A screen that delivers: 🟢 Better insulation: Keeps the greenhouse cooler in summer and warmer in winter. 🟢 Moisture control: Aluminium reduces condensation compared to white fabrics, protecting plants. 🟢 Energy savings: Achieved 10% lower energy use in the first winter compared to older systems. David van Tuijl of Linflowers shares: "Ridder guaranteed extra aftersales care and closely supervised the installation. That convinced us to take the plunge—and we couldn’t be happier with the results." This collaboration showcases how innovation and teamwork can lead to truly groundbreaking solutions for modern greenhouse cultivation. Together, we’re shaping a sustainable and efficient future for growers everywhere. 👉 Read the full story here: https://lnkd.in/efwXfHJV 👉 Dutch: https://lnkd.in/e8EGxaeG
