With an initial commitment from CBRE Investment Management Indirect Strategies and approximately €800 million in available capital, Rockfield Real Estate and Ardian have acquired a newly constructed building in Florence's Novoli district. This state-of-the-art property, which has already achieved nearly 100% occupancy, highlights the strong demand for high-quality student housing in Florence. Rockfield partners with Ardian on Pan-European Student Accommodation Strategy Rockfield Real Estate has entered into a strategic partnership with Ardian to invest in Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) across key European markets, supported by a €500 million equity commitment from CBRE Investment Management. Europe is a growing global education hub, with student numbers expected to rise by 10% by 2031. In many markets, there is a significant shortage of quality student housing, and this strategy aims to address that imbalance in leading education hubs across Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Germany, and France. We are pleased to announce the appointment of Josep Franch Bellmunt as the new Investment Director for Southern Europe at Rockfield Real Estate. Josep will lead our Southern European Investment Team, focusing on the living segment with a strong emphasis on PBSA flex- and residential real estate.     Josep joins us after six successful years at Greystar, where he developed and managed over 10,000 student housing beds and a wide range of residential assets across Spain. Fibonacci has been festively handed over. Yesterday, two residents of Fibonacci symbolically received the key to their new apartment. The residents received the key from Jan-Bert Vroege, Stadsdeel Oost, Municipality of Amsterdam. During this festive moment, the realisation of 243 appartments, 20% of which are social and 80% mid rent, was celebrated. The sustainable building will house about 350 young people. Together with Stadgenoot and VORM Holding, a lively residential community has been created where living, life and sports come together.
