One of TWD’s highlights this year was the design of the installation equipment for the Green Jade vessel. Looking back on a successful foundation installation, these tailored solutions, including the largest and most most advanced pre-piling template of its kind, showcase our innovation and expertise in the offshore wind industry.    We are excited for the Hai Long project to become the largest offshore wind project in Taiwan and the Asia-Pacific region in 2025, significantly contributing to Taiwan’s energy transition goals. 

We are delighted to see that the Trabajos Industriales y Mecánicos C.A. (TRIME C.A.) project in Colombia is making excellent progress! TWD contributed to this project with a design for a simple and efficient piling gate. Thank you for this great collaboration!

Strong Currents, Massive Tunnel Element, Smart Solutions Installing a big tunnel element in the face of strong currents is no small feat! When tasked with optimizing the installation sequence for the second tunnel element, BAAK Blankenburgverbinding turned to TWD for a hydrodynamic load investigation. Our engineers went beyond mere analysis. By refining the immersion method and evaluating the traditional hard stop we saved critical time during every immersion phase. From marine and stability analysis to ballasting plans, independent checks, and structural integrity assurance, TWD’s expertise ensured the entire process ran smoothly from start to finish. We’re proud to have been part of this complex and groundbreaking project, demonstrating the impact of smart, practical engineering! Introducing a New Monopile T&I Concept Our latest Monopile Transportation and Installation concept, developed for Maersk Offshore Wind combines practical experience with engineering expertise. Using the Wind Installation Vessel (which is currently under construction) and its barge stabilizing technology, we have designed a unique Monopile transport and upending system for Maersk’s Jones Act compliant barges. This innovative approach ensures safe and efficient Monopile transfers with minimal barge motion, enabling continuous installations at high operability.
