Women's health is not only women's issue, but society issue and we need men as ally on the journey as well. Nevertheless, there are almost no male allies publicly speaking about the silent path women take from stepping backward to stepping forward 🤔 🩸🎙️ Interested in becoming our human male ally? Provocative honest women's stories who suffered pain and discovered self-remedies to live less painful lives
Over ons
Why the Topic of Painful Periods? It is estimated that 1 in 10 women suffer from painful periods and immune diseases such as endometriosis. We see women around us enduring pain in silence, showing extreme resilience, but often at the cost of their own health and well-being. Based on my own experience and the stories I’ve heard from over 10,000 women I’ve worked with in recent years, I realized that we need to bring the topic of painful periods to light and break the stigma around it. My mission is to create an “I’m not the only one” aha moment for women around the world. Why a Podcast? ️ Women’s voices are often suppressed — whether through subtle acts like being interrupted due to unconscious gender bias in progressive countries or through more aggressive restrictions, such as being forbidden to speak in public in authoritarian regimes. Who Is This Painful Period Podcast For? The Painful Period Podcast is for women who don’t feel psychologically safe sharing their true stories about the painful periods they have endured or are enduring. We offer provocative yet honest stories of real women who suffered in silence and discovered self-remedies that helped them live less painful lives. Who Will Be Speaking in the Podcast Episodes? Dr. Ing. Mira Vasic will host of the Painful Period Podcast, write scenario's and choose guests for the podcast.
