Circular Vehicle Solutions Event 🚗🔄 On Tuesday the 25th of January, we had the pleasure of attending the Circular Vehicles Solutions event at Circuit Zolder. This fantastic event was made possible by the collaboration of Flanders Make, POM Limburg (Provinciale Ontwikkelingsmaatschappij Limburg), AMAC GmbH, E-LIONS H2, DITM project and Agoria.  More than 160 industry professionals gathered to delve into the transformative shifts towards clean mobility. The event was a hub of knowledge sharing, with valuable insights into sustainability challenges and circular solutions for the vehicle manufacturing value chain. VDL ETS was proud to be one of the speakers, contributing to the discussions on these critical topics. The Meuse-Rhine region continues to be a dynamic hub for automotive research and development. This vibrant ecosystem fosters innovation through collaboration among leading universities, research institutions, and industry players. It accelerates advancements in automotive technology, including electrification and autonomous driving, making it a pivotal area for future mobility solutions. Did you know? VDL ETS now offers even more advanced module testing capabilities with the addition of our second state-of-art module cycler, a125KW EV Tester 750V! We now have 4 out of 8 channels available. 🚀 Here's a glimpse of what we can do: 🔧 Module Testing: With a final total of 8 channels (500A / 150-750V), we ensure comprehensive non- destructive testing for your modules. 🌡️ Climate Chambers: Our facilities include 2 Hz-level 4 climate chambers (-10 to +60°C, 700L, ±0.5K) and 2Hz-level 5 climate chambers (-40°C to +180°C, 10% to 98% RH).   ⚡ High Precision Coolant Cycler: Operating from -40°C to 110°C, ensuring precise temperature control of the module. 📏 Setpoint Accuracy: Achieving 0.04% FSR for voltage and current, with a resolution of 20 mA and 5 mV, including isolation measurement. This marks a significant milestone for our organization, showcasing our dedication to advancing future-proof mobility solutions.  📡 About the DITM-Project 📡 The DITM-project, which stands for Digital Infrastructure for tomorrow's mobility. It is a nationwide initiative subsidized by the European Union. It involves collaboration between Brainport Development, RAI Automotive Industry NL, and various partner companies. The project focuses on implementing digital infrastructure for automated transport, aiming to enhance mobility efficiency and safety. Key aspects include innovative digital map systems that continuously updated based on sensor data from road infrastructure and growing number of smart vehicles.  🤝 Collaborative efforts 🤝 This achievement wouldn't have been possible without the collaborative efforts of Brainport Eindhoven, V-Tron B.V.Siemens, NXP Semiconductors, Technische Universiteit Eindhoven, Sioux Technologies, TNO, RAI Automotive Industry NL ,and AutomotiveCampus. "Wij kunnen een modulaire aanpak ontwikkelen en implementeren en machines in grotere aantallen bouwen. Dat ligt ook meer in de aard van VDL, in plaats van de kleinere aantallen. Daarnaast kunnen wij veel componenten, die binnen een batterij-elektrische aandrijflijn gebruikt worden, ontwikkelen en testen. Daarvoor kunnen wij ondersteuning bieden. Wij kunnen een complete systeemvalidatie en -optimalisatie doen, om te zorgen dat je het maximale uit de machine haalt. Daar vallen ook verbeteringen op het gebied van betrouwbaarheid onder.
