Members of the WaterWipes® team were delighted to join Drogheda’s Midwifery Led Unit (MLU) last week in celebrating the achievement of hitting a major milestone – 100 water births at the facility. Water births are gaining recognition for their natural pain-relieving benefits during labour and birth, and Drogheda MLU is one of the first units to offer water births in Ireland. The 2022 Irish winner of WaterWipes® Pure Foundation Fund - midwife Mairead Martin – received a €10,000 bursary for her unit which was used to help in promoting awareness and expanding access to water births through the Maternity Services at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. The team has been recognised with nominations for several Irish Healthcare Centre Awards, including Clinical Team for the Introduction of Waterbirths and Midwifery-led Project, which they won for their pioneering efforts with water birthing in Ireland. Read the full article in the Irish Independent here https://lnkd.in/geXanidM WaterWipes® would like to wish the Drogheda Midwifery Led Unit team a huge congratulations on this phenomenal achievement and are delighted to see such a wonderful initiative improving labour and delivery services offered to the public with the support of the WaterWipes® Pure Foundation Fund. Over ons
WaterWipes is an exciting entrepreneurial company, enjoying huge growth. Our values of Be Brave, Be Excellent, and Be Respectful are the principles and beliefs that drive all our behaviors and actions. At the heart of the business is a story of an Irish dad, Edward McCloskey, shocked by the vast array of chemicals in baby wipes. Determined to find a solution for the sensitive skin of his daughter, he went about developing a wipe pure enough to replace cotton wool and water. His solution, WaterWipes, is now a recommended brand by dermatologists, midwives and doctors, even for premature babies’ sensitive skin. Every day, parents around the world are discovering the benefits of our gentle and safe WaterWipes for their baby’s skin, we hope you like them too. We've come a long way in the past seven years, but we still act with the same entrepreneurial spirit and determination to find a better way. With our headquarters in Drogheda, Ireland and regional offices in US, Singapore and Netherlands, we are now a global business, selling the World's Purest Baby Wipes in over 56 countries. We are proud to have over 250 talented people working together to bring our products to more and more parents in every corner of the globe. Our business is built on innovation, and developing new product ideas is what drives us forward. We have great ambitions to expand our range by using our unique water technology and process to create new products that clean and care for what is most precious to our consumers, using as few ingredients as possible. Also in 2020 he have been recognised as a Great Place To Work and for 2 years in the row we have been awarded the Deloitte Best Managed Company award.

💜 World Prematurity Day - November 17th 💜 Every year, 13.2 million babies are born too early, too sick, and too small. Tragically, 1 million of these precious lives are lost. In Ireland alone, over 3,500 babies are born prematurely each year (born before 37 weeks), facing a lifetime of health challenges due to their early arrival. On World Prematurity Day, we celebrate the strength and determination of premature babies worldwide, with special acknowledgement for the love and dedication provided by their families and the healthcare professionals delivering essential care at the bedside. At WaterWipes®, we are delighted to support our neonatal charity partners across the globe to shine a light on the prevalence of prematurity, which affects 1 in 10 babies worldwide. Here at WaterWipes HQ, we will join international communities on 17th November by lighting up purple to raise awareness and support for World Prematurity Day. We would also like to shine a light on the Irish Neonatal Health Alliance (INHA) in our home country, an Irish charity dedicated to supporting families impacted by preterm birth. Their work is invaluable, providing resources, advocacy, and a community for those navigating the complexities of neonatal care. Let’s come together to shine a light on this critical issue and support the incredible work of the INHA. Find out more from www.inha.ie Visit the WaterWipes® website link below, where the Irish Neonatal Health Alliance answers some common questions for parents of premature babies.💜 https://lnkd.in/er8JmaUF #WPD2024 #WorldPrematurityDay2024

Nearly 1.8 billion people globally lack access to safe drinking water. 1 in 5 die every day from related illnesses. 90% of those deaths are children. Water is essential for life! We’re partnering with WATERisLIFE again this year to raise money for projects that help communities across the globe get access to clean water and sanitation systems. Last year, our efforts helped build a washroom for 5,000 Kenyan people. We need everyone’s help to make another big impact: for every pack sold through the end of September, we’re donating $1 to WATERisLIFE. Upload your receipt here today: www.waterwipespromos.com

Does the mess of ice cream make you want to scream?! WaterWipes to the rescue! The quintessential proof of life playing dirty during the summer is the ice cream truck moment. We kicked off our new “When Life Plays Dirty” ad campaign launch by introducing the WaterWipes Clean Team – a clean-up squad that was hot on the trail of ice cream trucks across Houston, passing out wipes and ‘saving’ parents from all the sticky hands, mouths and meltdowns that come from everyone’s favorite summertime activity. Thanks to our partners at FleishmanHillard and Hearts & Science for helping bring this to life. When life plays dirty…WaterWipes! #WhenLifePlaysDirty #NationalIceCreamMonth

As a proud corporate sponsor of the Ehrenberg-Bass Institute, we were delighted to welcome Professor Byron Sharp (Professor of Marketing Science and Director of EBI) to WaterWipes HQ in Drogheda last week. Professor Sharp is a renowned expert in the field of marketing science and the author of the influential book "How Brands Grow". Professor Sharp guided us through an in-depth Q&A in which he shared his experience and research into evidence-based brand growth. He talked about the importance of physical and mental availability and shared some brand case studies on consistent brand messaging, distinctive brand assets and creating memorable and relevant advertising; and he communicated relatable insights on the importance of reinforcing memory structures that make brands easily recognisable and considered in buying situations. We appreciate the continued mentorship from Professor Sharp and the EBI team, supporting our journey to deliver our growth ambition as a Global brand. Thank you, also, to Amanda Smith and Peter Murphy for coordinating and hosting this fantastic session for our Marketing Team.
