It's never too early to inspire the next generation—and we find sweet, delicious watermelon very inspiring. Great work Leith Plevey, sharing your vegetable science story with children. We're sure you were the class favorite with that seedless, sweet Javelin watermelon you shared!🍉

Happy National Ag Day, Australia! I recently popped into our youngest child's kindy for my third and final "Vegetable Science" 101, having previously done the same for our two older children. It's always a hit, thanks in large part to the anticipation of fresh watermelon (Syngenta Vegetable Seeds #JAVELIN of course) and rockmelon, AND the sight of 14 inch watermelon knife! Every child had their own assessment sheet to complete as we stepped though the process of assessing #watermelon and rockmelon traits, including Brix (using the "telescope") and flesh colour 😉. Perhaps a little too early to inspire a new generation of the vegetable #seeds industry, but a fun morning nonetheless and a treat to spend an hour with Will and his classmates. #AgDayAus Melons Australia Syngenta Australia and New Zealand
