We are excited to introduce our newest addition to the Amon Maritime team, Trym Stakston! Trym joins us as a Commercial Trainee while he completes his B.Sc. in Shipping and Logistics at Universitetet i Sørøst-Norge. He will be diving into commercial activities while also gaining valuable insights into the technical and financial aspects of our business. Amon Maritime had the immense pleasure of hosting colleagues and partners for our first Ammonia Fuel Symposium – this year focused on offshore logistics. Over two days, we were inspired by interesting presentations from industry leaders like HYEX Safety, Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement, DNV, Yara Clean Ammonia, Fortescue, EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG, Kongsberg Maritime, AZANE Fuel Solutions, and Wärtsilä. The discussions that followed were rich and insightful, paving the way for collective success and innovation.   The program was not all work and no play. We bonded over social activities that showcased the charm of Sandefjord, from a memorable trip on the famous whale boat “Southern Actor” to a visit to the historic Midtåsen, the former home of Anders Jahre. We wrapped up each day with the By The Pond festival, enjoying great atmosphere and top-notch music.   Gathering such vast experience and knowledge truly propels us forward.
