𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 – 𝗥𝗶𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻 💛 In 2007, Martin Håland started as an apprentice on a rig in the North Sea. Little did he know that 16 years later, he would be the Rig Manager of the same rig. Focused on improvements, he has worked his way up from Roughneck to Driller, Project Manager, and now Rig Manager. With the passion for people and operations the Rig Manager position on Gullfaks A is perfect. He leads Archer’s drilling operations, managing personnel, finances, and equipment. Driven by innovation and digitalization, he is always seeking ways to enhance efficiency. What motivates him the most is the team. He appreciates working closely with his crew - both onshore and offshore - and spending as much time as possible being present, involved, and a strong support for his colleagues. Alongside his job, he is studying management and working toward an Executive Master of Management. He is social and active, enjoying time with colleagues both at work and beyond. He is also a dedicated father to two children, aged 8 and 11. – I’ve spent nearly my entire career at Archer, and I couldn’t be prouder to represent this company. 𝗘𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗲𝘀 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗪𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 Archer has successfully deployed a Wireline unit with autonomous capabilities for Equinor. Objectives were completed with limited manual input from the operator during the Wireline operation. In autonomous mode, the winch efficiently conveyed tools to target depth, showcasing the unit’s advanced capabilities and the value it brings to operations. This achievement is a testament to the outstanding collaboration between Archer and Equinor and demonstrates how innovation and teamwork drive success. 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 – 𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗲 Earlier this autumn, we proudly announced the 5-year contract with OKEA ASA. On December 14th, we officially assumed responsibility for the drilling operations on Brage. We are excited to enter this new collaboration and we are pleased with the work accomplished so far both onshore and offshore. Since the contract was signed, we have worked intensively on preparations for the operations. This has included converting and finalizing operational procedures, mapping third-party suppliers, and implementing necessary measures to ensure a smooth start-up. – This is a new and exciting challenge which will strengthen OKEA’s and Archer’s relationship. I expect to see engagements across Archer’s complete portfolio, and this is stimulating for our teams, says Bjørn Ove Nymark, Rig Manager for Brage. 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 – 𝗞𝗲𝗻𝘇𝗮 𝗟𝗮𝗵𝗹𝗼𝘂 𝗞𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶 💛   Meet Kenza Lahlou Kassi, our Global Marketing & Business Development Director for Well Services. Kenza is originally from Morocco, currently residing in Norway.   With a Master’s in Energy Engineering and 18 years of experience, Kenza began her career as a Wireline field engineer in the North Sea. Today, she is promoting the Archer brand and our technology at conferences & exhibitions, while driving strategic partnerships across the globe.   Her running shoes are always included in her travels! Kenza inspires colleagues and customers to join her while running, from Texas with partners, to completing a half-marathon with the Archer team in Amsterdam.   A proud mom of two, she loves hiking, baking, and exploring nature, reflecting her passion for adventure. 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝘀 – 𝗔 𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗘𝗢 There is a lot going on in Archer as we grow our business. I wanted to share some of the strategic and operational highlights from the last few weeks: 🤝 𝗔𝗰𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗙𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 This acquisition aligns well with Archer’s growth strategy, strengthens our P&A service capabilities in the Gulf of Mexico, and deepens our relationships with global energy majors in the region. 💰 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗱 Secured USD 50 million in additional equity through a successful capital raise. The proceeds were applied towards the acquisition of Wellbore Fishing & Rental Tools, LLC. ✍ 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝘄𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝗜𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 We announced an agreement to acquire an additional 10% of Iceland Drilling, bringing our total ownership to 60%. Iceland Drilling is an international leader in high-temperature geothermal drilling, with offerings across renewable service segments such as deep drilling for power generation, wells for district heating and cooling, and wells for carbon storage. 🤝 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗩𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀 We announced a global P&A well engineering joint venture with Elemental Energies. By combining our leading P&A solutions with Elemental Energies’ subsurface and project management expertise, the partnership will deliver comprehensive well abandonment solutions for both platform and subsea well decommissioning projects. 🏆 𝗢𝗪𝗜 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 Archer’s strategic acquisitions in renewable services were recognized last week in Aberdeen, where we were honored with the OWI Global Award as the Energy Transition Pioneer of the Year. This achievement underscores our commitment to serve our clients as they transition to global energy companies. 🧗♂️ 𝗚𝗮𝘇𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗸𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 Vertikal Service - An Archer company was named Gazelle Winner for Mid-Norway. It’s an incredible recognition of their remarkable journey and development. 🌋 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗞𝗿𝗮𝗳𝗹𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗺𝗮 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 Iceland Drilling Company Ltd joined the Krafla Magma project to assist in unlocking new possibilities for sustainable, ultra-hot geothermal energy by harnessing the immense power near magma. 🌬 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗱 Archer has expanded into floating offshore wind and was awarded its first project by Total Energies for delivery of the floating wind foundation for the Culzean Wind Pilot. In addition to this, we also achieved outstanding operational results while maintaining industry leading HSE performance. I am proud and grateful to our nearly 5,000 dedicated team members across the globe. Their hard work, diligence, and commitment to deliver industry leading performance is what brings us forward.
