Breeze Ship Design awarded contract for two multipurpose supply vessels! Christmas came early as Breeze Ship Design has recently been awarded a contract by Fujian Mawei for the design of two new multipurpose offshore supply vessels (MPSVs) for the U.S shipowner SEACOR Marine Holdings. The Z 4423 MPSV design is an 88-metre-long hybrid vessel equipped with medium-speed diesel engines and an integrated battery energy storage system for higher fuel efficiency and lower running costs. The modern, high-quality MPSVs will each be 4,650 dwt, with 1000 square meter work deck and accommodation for 60 people – providing a flexible operational solution at a competitive price point. 

Wärtsilä arrangerte tradisjonelt førjulsseminar med juletrehenting og gløgg for kundar innan nærskipsfart i Hamburg i går. Breeze Ship Design var invitert til å presentera vårt innovative bulkskipsdesign. Ove H. Wilhelmsen introduserte selskapet vårt og fortalde kort om historia frå oppstarten av Schiffko i 1955 fram til at me i dag forvaltar verdas største designportefølje med over 4000 bygde skip. Sven Løkken Rolfsen presenterte vårt 5-7000 dwt bulkskip med ulike lav- og nullutsleppsteknologiar. Foredraget fekk stor merksemd og Dmitriy Sonechko vil følga opp eventuelle muligheter frå vårt svært lokale kontor i Ahrensburg, ein forstad til Hamburg. 🎅 🎄 ✨ Frohe Weihnachten!   Yesterday, Wärtsilä organized the traditional Christmas tree collection and Glühwein party for short sea shipping clients in Hamburg. Breeze Ship Design was invited to present our innovative bulk carrier design. Ove H. Wilhelmsen introduced our company and presented the history from the establishment of Schiffko in 1955 until today when we manage the world’s biggest design portfolio with more than 4000 vessels built. Sven Løkken Rolfsen presented our 5-7000 dwt bulk carrier with various low and zero emission technologies. 🎉 VilVite har landet på Stord! 🚀 Vi er stolte av å dele at VilVites Talentsenter i realfag, nå har startet opp en "satellitt" på Stord! Dette er et pilotprosjekt som gir elever med stort læringspotensial i Sunnhordaland, en unik mulighet til å utforske realfaget i dybden. Sist uke holdt prosjektleder og formidler, Lisa Hasholt Fosse, og fagansvarlig og formidler, Kai Håkon Sande, den første samlingen av satellitten på Høgskulen på Vestlandet (HVL) avd. Rommetveit. Temaet for samlingen var intet mindre enn Verdensrommet 🌌 Her møttes 20 elever fra 7. trinn fra både Stord, Fitjar, Bømlo og Etne kommune. I løpet av skoleåret blir det totalt fire slike samlinger for elevene. Denne satsingen hadde ikke vært mulig uten den fantastiske støtten vi har mottatt fra Sparebankstiftelsen SR-Bank og fra Sunnhordland kraftlag AS (SKL) Tusen takk for at dere satser på unge realfagsspirer i Sunnhordaland 🧑🔬🌱 I tillegg er vi så heldige at de lokale aktørene Salt Ship Design AS og Breeze Ship Design sørger for av elevene på våre samlinger mottar gratis lunsj dette skoleåret.
