We're excited to announce the official opening of our HyPilot project! 🥳 Today, Hystar hosted an event at the Kårstø Gas Processing Plant, formally opening the project. We were honoured to be joined by the Norwegian Minister of Energy, Terje Aasland, conducted the official ribbon cutting, as well as representatives from Enova SF, who has supported the project from its early stages, and our fantastic project partners, Equinor, Gassco AS, Yara Clean Ammonia, and ABB. As Hystar CEO, Fredrik Mowill, has stated, "HyPilot marks an important juncture both for Hystar and for the global green hydrogen industry. The project allows us to showcase our patented, ultra-efficient electrolysers, and the exceptional benefits of our unique design and scalable technology can bring to the industry." We are truly grateful 💚 to our project partners, Enova, and the Energy Department for their support on this exciting project and look forward to sharing even more about it in the coming months! Today, we were honoured to welcome His Majesty King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Haakon of Norway, alongside the Dutch Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Climate Policy and Green Growth, Sophie Hermans, and Norwegian Minister of Trade and Industry, Cecilie T. Myrseth, to Hystar for a memorable visit focused on the future of clean energy! During their time with us, we had the opportunity to introduce our world-leading PEM electrolyser technology, and have a roundtable discussion on the topic of the European hydrogen landscape and competitiveness. At Hystar, we’re committed to advancing green hydrogen technology to help reduce carbon emissions, achieve energy independence, and create a more sustainable future for generations to come. 📢 You may have heard... We're excited to confirm that Hystar has been awarded a grant of up to €26 million from the EU Innovation Fund for the industrial scale, automated production of our world-leading PEM electrolyser stacks. While we're already producing for commercial projects at our Høvik, Norway, location, this grant will enable us to significantly increase capacity to meet the needs of our customers globally. “Our Høvik GW factory demonstrates our commitment to rapidly expanding our European operations and meeting the strong demand for our technology globally," says CEO Fredrik Mowill. "The EU Innovation funding will enable us to drive unseen levels of cost and production efficiencies, which is particularly important across hard-to-abate sectors.” A big thank you to everyone who has supported us thus far, and especially to the EU Innovation Fund for enabling us to accelerate the deployment of our breakthrough technology!
