Marco Westergren, our chief analytics officer, has been featured in H2o Magazine's expert opinion section, sharing his valuable insights on how data and AI are advancing sustainable water management. Marco sheds light on the challenges of breaking down legacy systems and sealed data silos in the water sector, emphasising the need for standardisation, collaboration, and simplified data-sharing to unlock AI's true potential. He envisions a future where automation frees up time, enabling cross-domain collaboration and delivering large-scale benefits for sustainable water solutions. 📖 Check out Marco's full perspective in H2O Magazine 👇 #AIForWater #WaterInnovation #WaterTech

The latest United Nations Water - Water Analytical Brief on Water for Climate Mitigation highlights an often-overlooked connection: "Effective water and wastewater management can also contribute directly towards emission reduction targets as poorly managed wastewater and sanitation systems, and some wetlands, reservoirs and irrigation systems, are sources of emissions of greenhouse gases, especially methane and nitrous oxide." Throwing back to InfoTiles’ presentation at the WET Networks event in London on 7th November, emphasising that applied intelligence — whether human 🤓 or machine 🤖 — is all about addressing real-world challenges. A standout example of this is PipeFusion. #PipeFusion goes beyond data collection, automating the processing of millions of logical operations on water pipe networks to generate actionable insights that streamline complex infrastructure management. The event was a great reminder that #innovation in #water and #wastewater isn’t just about technology—it’s about purpose. Real impact emerges when tech is directed at real challenges, and with tools like PipeFusion, we’re moving toward a more resilient and efficient water network. Thanks to Elsa Germain, Martin Shouler, Arup and #WETNetworks, for organising this event; and Paul Carstairs for capturing the highlights of our presentation, the solution we´re continuously enhancing and the dedicated team behind it.

Despite the critical importance of water, the water crisis is not front-of-mind and its awareness remains limited. Unlike climate change, which has a shared target (like the 1.5°C limit) and a unified narrative, water lacks a similar framework to communicate its urgency. #COP29 #watercrisis #sustainablewater #waterstewardship #WaterInnovation #WaterTech ----------------- Don't miss our water #webinar series, exploring digital water technology for building long-term water resilience and optimising operations https://lnkd.in/du6si3Nd (happening tomorrow!) Water webinar series - from big picture to specialised solutions 💡🌍 From data accuracy to predictive maintenance, utilities are being asked to do more with less. But how can you turn big data into actionable insights to meet today’s water challenges? Utilities are looking for innovative ways to improve service and sustainability. In our #webinar series, we start by exploring digital water technology for building long-term water resilience and optimising operations. As the series progresses, we dive into the specific challenges utilities face on the ground, from the accuracy of water/sewer network data, inflow & infiltration (I&I) to smart water meters. This series focuses on practical solutions to the real issues utilities face.
