Jotne Connect, previously Jotne EPM Technology, are the world leaders in applying international standards to create information technology solutions for interoperability, validation and long term management of data. These solutions are applied to Virtual Design and Construction (VDC), PLM, Logistics, Building Information Management (BIM) and other engineering and manufacturing domains. Since 1990 the company has developed database and toolkit solutions to work with standards such as ISO 10303 STEP, PLCS, the ASD S-series and buildingSMART. These are open specifications with public availability used by aerospace, defense, building and construction industries to manage information about complex systems. Jotne solutions are based on the EXPRESS Data Manager™ (EDM) technology to effectively utilizing ISO standards, particularly ISO 10303 STEP/PLCS and the buildingSMART standards.
Jotne BIM Solutions has been in operation since June 2012 for deploying commercial solutions based on EDM in support of Virtual Design and Construction activities.
