Stordalen’s Strawberry Equity and Ekko Invest continue to back the company, joined by new investors including former Salmar chairman Bjørn Flatgård, former Aker executive Leif Arne Langøy, and investor Grunde Eriksen. Their preventive technology uses light to attract and trap sea lice larvae, reducing treatments and improving fish welfare – a game-changer for aquaculture. This years CEO day, was truly inspiring! 🎉 We gathered leaders from our incubator for an afternoon filled with knowledge-sharing, insights, and networking. Stine Svanevik introduced the day and Svein-Olav Torø kicked things off with the importance of a commercial-first mindset. Our keynote speaker, Petter Reistad, CEO of Celsia, inspired us with valuable advice on why success starts with prioritizing sales from day one. His session focused on building a solid sales pipeline early and shifting from product development to commercial growth. Andreas Fuglesang from SANDS Advokatfirma DA provided practical tips on negotiating with major players – the industry sharks – and highlighted key pitfalls to avoid in these processes. In the panel discussion, Karoline Sjødal Olsen (Blue Lice), Lasse Bjørkhaug (Brudeli Green Mobility ), and Lars Willums (Nordic Batteries) shared their thoughts on building a culture of commercial thinking and taking the first steps in sales. 💡 The day concluded with a practical workshop, pizza, and mingling – the perfect combination of learning and networking. Blue Lice is at the forefront of shaping the future of sustainable aquaculture practices. In collaboration with SINTEF Ocean, Norsk Regnesentral, and NINAgen, they will demonstrate in 'Lusefelle' (Lice trap) project how their preventive technology can reduce the need for lice treatments while simultaneously improving fish welfare. 🌊🐟 Their solution captures sea lice at the larval stage before they reach the fish. Testing conducted at SINTEF ACE's aquaculture facility will provide valuable data and could potentially establish a new standard in the industry. This week, we participated in the DeepTech Alliance Public Utility Program hosted by Kongsberg Innovasjon in Oslo—a unique opportunity to connect European deep tech entrepreneurs with corporates and investors for strategic partnerships 🌍 Vegard took the stage to pitch our CO₂ heat pump technology, highlighting how we can tackle today’s big challenges in energy and infrastructure ⚡ We also engaged in tailored matchmaking sessions with corporate partners, where the discussions were both insightful and promising.
