Transocean has chosen Mobydo as vendor for Red Zone drill floor risk assessments. 🚦 Mobydo, a developer of digital control of work solutions and a trusted provider of risk and drilling expertise, is pleased to announce a delivery of Red Zone HAZID to Transocean Spitsbergen. ⚙ 🔔   To operate drill floors in full compliance with authorities' recommendations (081 guideline for remote pipe handling) is still a few years ahead of us. The installation time took only a few working days to be fully operational on the rig. As the solution is built on industry common guideline 088 the need for training of crews was minimized significantly. This is a highly intuitive solution making it very easy for us to use and operate. After only 4 days in operation more than 70 simultaneous Permit to work jobs were coordinated daily. COSL really depends on agile, flexible, easy-to-use, and scalable solutions and providers. It is impressive to see that a local expert solution vendor has been capable of developing a streamlined solution well fit for the industry.
