Insecure communication happens when mobile apps transmit sensitive data without proper encryption or through untrusted channels, leaving information vulnerable to interception by attackers. The key risks of insecure communication: 🚩 Data interception, exposing sensitive user information 🚩 Man-in-the-middle (MITM) attacks between the app and server 🚩 Credential theft, leading to unauthorized access to accounts 🚩 Exposure of sensitive APIs, risking access to backend systems Ways you can strengthen mobile communication: ✅ Secure API communications ✅ Limit data exposure and avoid using plain-text ✅ Implement certificate pinning to prevent MITM attacks ✅ Use TLS (transport layer security) to encrypt data in transit By implementing these best practices, it reduce security risks and keep user data safe.
