Yara International la ut dette på nytt
Yara International, Europe’s largest fertiliser company, captures nitrogen from the air and transforms it into essential plant nutrients. This production process relies on natural gas, which generates CO2, so they are exploring innovative solutions to decarbonise their operations, including carbon capture and storage (CCS). At Shell, we’re advancing CCS and carbon removal technologies to help reduce emissions where few low-carbon alternatives exist. Through the Northern Lights* project, we’re working together to capture, ship and store CO2 emissions, contributing to a more sustainable production process. 🤝 Only by working together to tackle today’s challenges can we unlock innovative solutions like CCS to meet tomorrow’s climate needs. 🌱 Learn more here: https://lnkd.in/gkmwzig9 #EnergyTransition #PoweringProgress #CarbonCapture *Northern Lights is a JV owned by Equinor, Shell and TotalEnergies
