Hi Mum! I lost my phone - can you please help? This is a scam we have seen increase over the last year. The victim receives a message, most often via SMS, from a fraudster posing as their child. The fraudster claims to have lost or damaged their phone and is reaching out to the parent from a friends' phone, asking for money to help replace the lost or damaged phone.
