Today marks a significant step forward as we 🖊signed the Bilateral Agreement for the Safer Migration (SaMi) Programme Phase IV, ensuring safety, dignity, and empowerment for Nepali migrant workers and their families. With a grant of 11.34 million Swiss Francs (NPR 1.64 billion) from Switzerland and a contribution of NPR 2.38 billion from the Government of Nepal, this partnership will span the next four years, transforming countless lives. We are inspired by our shared commitment to place gender and social inclusion at the heart of this initiative, ensuring that the most disadvantaged are supported. Switzerland stands firmly by Nepal to strengthen governance across all three spheres and expand this impactful programme nationwide.
