Brilliant night last Thursday at Tauranga Business Chamber for the Tauranga Business Awards. I was lucky enough to have a seat at two tables: 1️. With the AIS Auckland team, celebrating Andre Jay and the BOP team of AIS Global Group for being a finalist in the Emerging Business category. 2. With the Protect For Life, Tavita Lene Milo Keven Mealamu MNZM team, proudly sponsoring the Excellence in Māori and Pasifika Business category alongside Pacific Growth Services, Fainu’ulelei Aifa’i Esera. I was surrounded by so many great businesses from the Bay and got to experience firsthand how they genuinely support one another. There’s a real sense of community here. Special thanks to Lloyd Rakaupai for "the people connector". A big shoutout to the Auckland AIS branch for everything they do behind the scenes to support our #AISBOP team, and our incredible administrative team #AISPhilippines too, who helped take #AISBOP from zero to hero. Proud of how far we’ve come, and excited for what’s next.

A couple weeks back in NZ after wrapping up an incredible week in Melbourne finalising 2025 planning for AIS Australia. It was fantastic to work on strategy with Lukas Sousa and Andre Jay; catching up and mapping out an exciting year ahead. 2024 brought solid progress and key learnings, and now we’re ready to absolutely advance our impact and results this year. I’m excited for what 2025 holds for AIS Australia and grateful to have spent quality time with the fantastic team.

Over the past 6 months, a group of AIS Global Group employees have been busy completing their first set of unit standards in the Basic Construction Skills Micro-credentials. The BCITO site supervisor, and support staff, supported the team during their micro-credential, helping to develop and hone their carpentry skills to match NZ building code. AIS BOP plenty said “it has made a huge difference to [the team]. The feedback from everyone we work with has been extremely positive and this would not be possible without the support, guidance and opportunities Matty and Hayden have provided to AIS.” Congratulations team 👏

“It’s very cold, it’s 1 degree here in Wanaka. I’m so lucky I can travel around NZ with the nature of our work. I enjoy working here and what AIS provides.
