Harrow – a premium residential development in Milford for Tuakiri Property. A collection of five residences with three unique layouts. Open-plan, bespoke elements, and premium finishes elevate every residence, while a sophisticated neutral palette enhances the seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living. Expansive glass doors open out to a spacious balcony, extending the living area and offering stunning views toward Milford Beach and Rangitoto Island. The approach was to work with a neutral, sophisticated colour palette, complemented by organic forms and textures, with a strong emphasis on detailing to craft a refined and elegant design. Abodo Wood Ltd Vulcan cladding, lightweight concrete panels, and aluminium vertical weatherboards make up the exterior palette while the interiors feature premium finishes and fixtures. Restoration of Warkworth Hotel – Heritage dating back to 1862. The restoration of the Warkworth Hotel has been an incredible journey, transforming this historic building into a 70-seater restaurant and bar while preserving its rich #heritage. The project involved detailed research, careful design, and a significant collaborative effort to bring it up to modern standards, including earthquake and fire safety. Great to have worked with Kalmar Construction Limited, Abacus Engineering, Holmes Aus & NZ, MEPS Building Engineers, and Tonkin + Taylor to make this possible. The interiors are a testament to its legacy, with original Kauri wood floors, vintage sofas, and Tiffany lamp shades evoking a deep connection to its past. Sharing these updates along with new photos to celebrate the craftsmanship and effort that went into revitalising this historic landmark.
