About us
BQH provides dynamic cost planning, value management and project control using tested methods and practical experience. With our advice, you can confidently plan and execute your project with a firm understanding of cost and value. As quantity surveyors, we work on the principle that measurement is a vital part of the management process. Our contemporary techniques support effective decisions throughout the development and construction process: who, what, when, where, why: quantified. We understand there is more to a project than cost. Aside from informing affordability decisions, costs describe value, efficiency and competitiveness in a universally understood metric. We have a deep, practiced understanding of measurement and highly developed skills in advising on how to develop a project with measurements that suit your objectives of time, cost and quality.

Looks like a warehouse from the road, but massively complex on the inside! well done team! Veron Building Consultants Limited RCP, SAVORY, Beca, Designgroup Stapleton Elliott, Lough Associates, Rapidfire, Pacific Commissioning & Coordination Limited 🎉🎉🎉
Project Highlight: NZ Blood Laboratory Fit-out Design Coordination. New Zealand Blood Services required a state-of-the-art specialist laboratory to meet growing healthcare demands. Veron was engaged to coordinate stakeholders and consultant teams, delivering construction documentation within a tight four-month timeframe. This involved integrating the new facility within an existing warehouse. We implemented an agile design process after the client requested to allow for certain decisions to be deferred until onsite validation. This flexibility enabled us to provide timely solutions for issues discovered during construction, keeping the project on track. Regular site inspections and coordination meetings facilitated seamless communication and collaboration, allowing us to address emerging issues promptly. To meet the accelerated schedule, we developed and maintained a rigorous project plan, tracking progress against key milestones. Through effective management and problem-solving, we successfully delivered the specialist laboratory facility, meeting the urgent needs of New Zealand Blood Services. Services provided by Veron: - Gap analysis for building consent and construction set of documents and resulting advice - Management and coordination of the design process - Construction monitoring

Exciting to see progress on L’Oreal Manu Street! BQH is proud to be part of the delivery team for this fantastic project, providing our expertise in construction economics and cost management.
2025 is going to see another key milestone for L’Oréal Groupe ANZ towards our journey of building the company of the future. As our New Zealand business continue to grow, we made the decision to move to a new Distribution center which will enable to more than double our capacity in a 13’583 sqm site. With the intent of setting new benchmark in both safety and sustainability (100% renewable energy, solar panel, EV charging…), this new site will be a key building block in our strategy to put customer first and enable future growth. It is also a unique opportunity to create a very exciting and unique workplace for all our team, with enhanced common place, biodiversity garden and a modern 700sqm workplace. Following our recent investments made in our academy / training center and office renovation in last 12 months in New Zealand, this is another major step to help position New Zealand as driver of growth and innovation for our cluster and region. I am not only proud to work for a company that continuously look at transforming itself, but very excited by the opportunities it creates for all our teams. In partnership with James Kirkpatrick Group Ltd, I am convinced we can create something unique and set new benchmark for the future of operations. A massive thanks to James Kirkpatrick and his team for the unique partnership and to everyone involve in Collier and L’Oréal team across ANZ, Singapore and Paris. Now it is all about flawless execution and “En route for 2026, together!” #LOréal #lorealoperations #createthebeautythatmovestheworld #weareloreal #LorealANZ #Lorealforthefuture #NewZealand
