I had to look several times at this to make sure it was real. I’m still pinching myself. Earlier this year we were introduced to the WOMEN IN TECH ® Global group in France and my world instantly opened up. As a founder based in regional Northland, New Zealand I’ve had big ambitions to create more sustainable outcomes globally. We focus on responsible sourcing and making it easier to scale production of traceable circular products. An issue I encountered at a global scale while living in China. I feel incredibly privileged to be apart of this amazing line up of women in green tech from all over the APAC region! I am really proud of the work and growth we have made in the few short years since we founded CiRCLR , it’s an entire community effort. Being a finalist of this award makes me feel like I’m not completely crazy or perhaps I’m just crazy enough… or maybe it tells us it’s time to ramp up the crazy? France had so much to offer NZ startups, and it was a privilege to be part of the first cohort of wahine Māori in tech exploring opportunities through our EU free trade agreement with Te Taumata and the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade . Paris pulled out all the glitz and glam for new tech opportunities, offering abundant funding, strategic European access, pro-business support, and a high quality of life.
