The Cleanery team attended the Sustainable Business Network Awards and Showcase this week. While we didn't take out an award, we are very proud to have been named on SBN's Next 95 - an annual list of innovators and entrepreneurs progressing sustainable business in New Zealand- and enjoyed coming together with the local sustainability community to celebrate all the amazing work that is being done by our fellow "Next 95-ers" #businessforgood #bcorp #doinggoodisgoodforbusiness #impactbusiness #sbnawards

Last week, aptly on Earth Day, Cleanery Co-Founder Ellie Brade had the opportunity to share a snapshot of the Cleanery journey at the launch of the new Climate VC Fund extension, alongside speakers including James Shaw, former Climate Change Minister and ex-leader of the Green Party of Aotearoa New Zealand. At Cleanery we are super proud of the science, technology and manufacturing capabilities we have developed with potential to change entire categories, removing emissions, waste, and toxic chemicals from our homes and environment. It's exciting to see rapid growth of climate investors backing businesses like ours, and we thank Climate VC Fund and others for backing us and championing what do. On a side note - investment from climate focused investment firms is a really gratifying nod to the fact that we're doing business in a good way, both ethically and commercially. The extensive and intelligent due diligence from climate investors means there's absolutely no room for greenwashing and false claims in any aspect of your business. Their support is the highest compliment to the way we are doing business (spoiler alert... we're doing it really well!) #bcorp #innovation #impactbusiness
