Project Completed: University of Auckland! Duraplan Systems Ltd were pleased to partner with another of New Zealand's leading educational institutions to elevate their restroom spaces. We understand the need of durability, functionality, and modern design in top tier New Zealand universities, and our experience in the industry enables us to deliver premium tailored restroom solutions. In collaboration with Chris Wanless at MJMA Architecture & Design, and WARREN AND MAHONEY, Duraplan worked extensively to design and develop innovative features for the restroom and changeroom spaces, creating a truly unique solution with international recognition. The highlight of this project was designing a fully customised locker solution with engravings that reflect the university’s brand and identity. The restroom and changeroom spaces included high-traffic wet area changing and shower rooms, bathroom blocks on the upper floors, and expansive locker and changing room areas. Duraplan designed and installed a range of solutions, including toilet and cubicle systems, lockers integrated with advanced control systems linked to the UoA access system, wet area lockers, garbage niches, wallet cubbie lockers, and personal storage solutions. These installations were tailored to meet the specific needs of the facility, ensuring both functionality and durability in high-use environments. Installation Update: Kerikeri Primary School Duraplan Systems Ltd is excited to showcase the first few blocks we have been working on at Kerikeri Primary School alongside the team from Constructed. We have now completed Blocks D and E, with install in Block 17 currently underway and 1 and 2 to follow next year. Duraplan products used in these bathroom refurbishments are the Classic Range for the Partitions, Compact Laminate Wall Linings, and Bench Seating. See below some highlights of the finished result! This project was a great opportunity to create a customised solution for our client, using a combination of blue and green for the toilet partitions to match the bathroom to the school’s brand. Project Completed: Auckland University of Technology Duraplan Systems Ltd is delighted to have completed the fitout of the restroom spaces at the Auckland University of Technology in Building WB 125 and 126. We were excited to watch the project come to life alongside Practec. Our expertise in the tertiary education sector will ensure another of New Zealand's leading universities will have durable and innovative restroom solutions. Our design team played a pivotal role throughout the entire design process, collaborating closely with the architects to develop concept designs and budget costings. We provided innovative solutions that ensured a buildable outcome with enhanced functionality. We have the privilege of working alongside Alaska Construction + Interiors and Precinct Properties, contributing our expertise in restroom design and solutions. We were specified by Ignite Architects with our reputation for delivering high-quality restroom solutions, and we completed detailed concept drawings and are now at the manufacturing stage. As an important requirement of this project, we submitted an Environmental Product Declaration, which highlights our commitment to sustainable building practices.
