To enable Equalise and Diverge to focus and deliver their respective solutions we have separated Equalise into Equalise Cyber Security Limited. This transition allows us to enhance our capabilities and services to better serve our customers. As Equalise Cyber Security, our commitment to providing the highest quality cyber security services and support remains unchanged. This week we’re celebrating our amazing colleagues who work behind the scenes and around the clock, in our control rooms. Here at Vector, we have three control rooms: the Electricity Operations Centre (EOC) working 24/7 managing the electricity network to help keep the lights on for customers in the Auckland region; the Network Operations Centre (NOC) implementing and assuring the fibre network to ensure our business customers stay connected; and the Security Operations Centre (SOC) where the team is dedicated to monitoring, protecting and acting on any potential cyber threats to the business and/or to New Zealand critical infrastructure. Equalise Cyber Security recently hosted a fantastic Grip Security webinar for our Energy Partners. Grip Security shared some invaluable insights on managing the ever-changing cloud landscape. Highlights included how to uncover hidden SaaS apps and unauthorised cloud accounts, as well as tackling the growing issue of identity sprawl. They also dove into securing unapproved SaaS applications and cloud usage and ensuring smooth, effective risk management. We also had a fun prize draw, and a big congratulations to Stu Jacob, CIO of SCANPOWER LIMITED, for winning! Yesterday Equalise held a Grip Security webinar for our EDB partners. Grip Security is all about discovering shadow SaaS and rogue cloud accounts and prioritising identity sprawl risks.
