Great way to finish up the year for the CIT Aerospace and Aviation group. Great session with Justin Flitter on AI at our leadership breakfast series. Good engagement as we all look to see how AI can enhance both productivity and profitability. The AI notes from Otter were The discussion highlighted the rapid advancements in AI, particularly in generative models like ChatGPT and Perplexity, which can handle complex tasks such as search queries and conversation continuation. Enterprise integration of AI tools like CoPilot from Microsoft is gaining traction, offering significant productivity benefits, such as saving an hour per meeting. AI's role in various industries, including agriculture, manufacturing, and marketing, was emphasized, showcasing its potential to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Concerns about AI's impact on job markets and the need for critical thinking skills were also addressed. The session concluded with a call to action for companies to appoint AI leaders and explore AI's potential benefits. Action items • Appoint an AI leader to drive AI adoption within the organization. • Identify use cases for AI within the organization and understand the data and workflow impacts. • Develop a plan to build AI skills and ensure good governance around data privacy and security. • Explore the use of AI-powered tools like Copilot, Perplexity, and ChatGPT to automate and enhance business processes. • Investigate the use of generative AI tools like Midjourney and Runway ML for content creation and marketing.
