Lost Cosmonauts were brought on by Grinding Gear Games to create a 5-minute opening cinematic with them. It's finally out. Path of Exile 2's opening cinematic. Grinding Gear Games is a staple of the New Zealand video game industry, and with Lost Cosmonauts being a fellow NZ studio, it was a fantastic opportunity to be able to work together. We want to thank Grinding Gear Games for taking a chance - Lost Cosmonauts' previous portfolio tended towards more stylized work. We hope the world believes we did a good job - so what do you think?

Spoilers ahead for the Dota 2 Crownfall event! Lost Cosmonauts had the lovely experience of working with Valve to create many a mystery-thing for their Crownfall event. The big one - the one that (and I said 'spoilers!') plays at the end of the event once players beat the final boss - has finally started to be discovered. This isn't an official posting. Naturally, with it being a secret, Valve wouldn't post this to their own channel for the world to see before they've even played through the event. Nevertheless, we hope you enjoy.
